Travel Montage

An 11-second portrait reel (1080×1920) structured as 8 rapid 1-second location flashes followed by a 3-second end card. Built for travel recap reels and trip wrap-up content.

Structure

8 × 30 frames — location flashes. Each flash hard-cuts with a quick zoom-settle (Ken Burns on entry). A country emoji + city name sticker badge flies in on alternating corners.
90 frame end card — final image fades in with sparkles. Large tally text (“8 CITIES · 14 DAYS”) headlines the card. All visited cities list below as badge chips.

Colour grades

Film Grain — THEME_ESPRESSO. Teal-orange split-tone colour overlay (teal shadows, warm highlights) for that desaturated, cinematic film grain aesthetic.

Sunset Vibes — THEME_SUNSET. Warm screen overlay lifts the highlights orange-pink. High saturation, golden hour mood throughout.

Clone and install

Typography scale

All font sizes come from _shared/layouts.ts TYPE. Edit once, updates every composition. Minimum TYPE.caption (24px) - broadcast legibility standard for 1280x720.

Add a custom theme

Copy any THEME_* object in _shared/themes.ts, change the colors, register it in THEMES, then pass it to any template. No per-template changes needed.

Preview live in Remotion Studio

Run Remotion Studio locally to scrub through every frame, adjust props in real time, and compare all style variants side by side. Studio opens at localhost:3000 after running npx remotion studio in the project root.
